Thank you valued members of Salem Athletic Club!
We took ownership of SAC on 11/1/2019 and have been nothing short of amazed by the outpouring of support from the community here as we begin our journey with the resurrection of this once upon a time fitness giant. Change is not often easy especially when asking 2000-ish members and 50+ staff to trust in your vision to return SAC to its height of prominence, but we do need your support. We have had so much feedback from you the members as well as staff and we love it, it’s helped us create our ‘to do’ list so keep it coming!
You can expect continuous improvements. We have completed many tasks thus far including a deep cleaning of the top floor, painting of the lobby, restored Racquetball Court 1 to like new condition, 23 new LED wall and ceiling lights in the pool area, added 3 new unique cardio pieces to the upstairs cardio area and 5 new cardio pieces to the downstairs gym and many more great additions to come!
Keep your eyes open in the coming weeks for much more!
We have devised a plan that involves not having to close the facility at all so that there is no interruption to your daily routine. With so much to accomplish, you may experience a change you don’t understand or that inconveniences you to some degree. Should you experience this or just want to chat, please reach out to talk to me for a clear explanation of what we are up to so that we may help set your mind at ease by explaining what is happening. I am in the club 7 days per week.
This is your club, the community’s club and we are here to help stabilize, grow and sustain SAC for you and your family for generations to come.
The uniqueness and potential of SAC is like no other club in our area, the possibilities are endless, exciting and attainable! We ask for your continued support, your feedback and your trust in the process. In return, we will give our members honesty and transparency.
Lots of great things to come and we look forward to sharing all of them with you.
