In 1980 the Salem Racquetball Club opened its doors. It was a place to simply play racquetball and socialize with friends at the full-service bar that was once located in the main lobby. The club was significantly expanded over the years and eventually renamed the Salem Athletic Club. But racquetball will always be in our roots.

Today we have four regulation racquetball courts, perfect for anyone looking to sharpen their skills and get some great exercise. We have some of the fastest courts in the country. Included in your SAC membership are court fees, free clinics, and round robins.

Seasonal Leagues

All ages and skill levels – men and women – are encouraged to participate. Multiple brackets include A Singles, B Singles, Novice Single, and Doubles. Sign-up forms and dates/times can be found at the service desk. The league coordinator will provide racquetballs, racquets & goggles to those without racquetball equipment.

Racquetball involves a fast moving hard rubber ball and racquet. Proper eye protection is required. Non-marking soled shoes are encouraged.
