Don’t Huff and Puff on Backstroke

I hear it all the time “I get so winded when I swim backstroke”. Chances are that you are holding your breath even though you can breathe whenever you want. A good swimmer exhales and breathes in evenly. Try breathing in when one arm enters the water and exhaling on the opposite arm for an even breathing pattern.
