With all the extra shoveling this winter, I have been feeling it in my back.  What can I do to strengthen my back?

Strengthening your core is essential to having a strong back.

A simple, yet effective exercise for core strengthening is the hover or a plank. 

Another good move is the pointer (that is on your hands and knees  point with your arm and opposite leg, then bring your elbow to your knee, repeat  10-15 times on each side).
