Your abdominal muscles are just like any other muscle group in your body. In order for strength and endurance gains to be made, there needs to be proper training and rest. However if core stability is your goal, daily activation techniques may be incorporated without overly fatiguing the muscles. It is recommended to include both strength and stability abdominal training for a well-rounded workout.
